Labor Day is upon us along with, you guessed it, record heat. However, in Arizona, we’ve turned the corner—it’s September, and October is just within sight. Hallelujah.

Dave and I (along with many others) have spent the summer keeping cool by watching nordic and arctic noir murder-mysteries. The colder the environment, the better. Fortitude and Trapped are our all-time favorites, but we’re not picky—we’re just craving what we can’t have.

Ahhh, the dog days of summer—what better time to pull out those refreshing, icy photos and spend a quiet moment of zen.
